Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

At GE Appliances, a Haier company, we're seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for overseeing the logistical aspects of shipping and receiving goods.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
  • Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to schedule and track shipments.
  • Schedule freight shipments using the online portal.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documents, including bills of lading, shipping labels, and customs documentation.
  • Collect freight information or quotes for LTL, FedEx, and UPS shipments.
  • Monitor freight costs and seek opportunities for cost reduction without compromising service quality.
  • Work closely with internal teams (sales, warehouse, and customer service) to ensure seamless logistics operations and provide updates on shipment statuses.
  • Proactively identify and address any issues that may arise during the transportation process.
  • Collaborate with relevant parties to find solutions and prevent future problems.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in freight coordination or logistics preferred.
  • Excellent communication, and writing skills.
  • Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent customer service and client relations skills.
  • Keep organization and time management skills.
  • Good collaboration and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office.
