YOUR ROLE AS A WINDOW INSTALLER
This position typically operates Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional Saturday work.
As a Window Installer, your responsibilities include delivering safe, efficient, and precise service to our clients. You will focus on the meticulous installation of windows, doors, storefronts, glass railings, custom shower enclosures, specialty glass, and mirrors. Maintaining professionalism is crucial, as is ensuring that company vehicles and job sites remain clean and safe. After completing installations, you will follow up with clients to confirm their satisfaction.
In this role, you will also be responsible for mentoring and ensuring the safety of technician assistants by providing clear instructions tailored to their skill levels. You will promote growth by holding yourself accountable, overcoming challenges in the field, and resolving issues as they arise. Staying organized is essential, as you will need to track assigned company assets and communicate any material shortages or change orders. Additionally, you will assist in the warehouse with product checks and customer repairs. Your craftsmanship and training efforts will provide a rewarding sense of accomplishment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or training
- Proficiency in measuring, diagramming, and installing glass
- Ability to compose reports and business correspondence
A college degree is preferred but not mandatory. If you meet these qualifications and can fulfill the responsibilities of this window installation role, we would be pleased to consider you for our team.
