Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Outside Sales Consultant to join our team. This position involves engaging with small to medium-sized enterprises within your assigned sales territory. You will receive training to meet face-to-face with business owners and key decision-makers, presenting some of the finest supplemental insurance products and services available for their employees. Business-to-business cold calling will be a crucial aspect of your sales approach.

  • Respond to general inquiries from clients
  • Schedule follow-up meetings with prospective and current clients to assess their needs
  • Participate in scheduled calls or meetings with your sales team or manager
  • Reach out to new businesses, referrals, and existing clients requiring service
  • Develop and maintain your own client portfolio
  • Establish your own working hours and report them to your sales manager weekly
  • Provide daily updates on your sales metrics and activities

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $42,000 - $72,000 annually

Additional Qualifications:

  • Must be licensed in Health & Life general lines or willing to obtain a Health & Life producer license (licensing reimbursement available)
  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience. Candidates nearing degree completion will also be considered, as well as those with less than 4 years of professional experience who possess relevant outside sales experience.

Work Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts
