Job Summary

Premier, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Compounding Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy compounding services, you will provide support for Premier members, suppliers, and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct onsite evaluations of 503B outsourcing facilities, pharmaceutical testing labs, and other suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain stability study programs, operational toolkits, and engage with members and suppliers on drug development needs.
  • Develop compounding training and educational resources for members, provide subject matter expertise on pharmaceutical compounding and current good manufacturing practices, and stay current with compounding standards, regulations, guidance, and other pertinent documents.
  • Provide pharmacy compounding augmentation analyses for members, augmentation support services to suppliers, and maintain finances and tracking of program performance in Salesforce and Workday.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Pharmacist experience, including pharmacy compounding (sterile, nonsterile, hazardous drugs), evaluating 503B outsourcing facilities, and related hospital and health-systems experience.
  • RPH and/or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), Master's degree, and BCSCP Certification.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods, be adaptive and change priorities quickly, meet deadlines, and operate computer programs and software.
