About the Role

This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires strong technical and commercial expertise, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a Sales Account Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth in your assigned territory. You'll work closely with our Regional Sales Account Managers, Technical Account Managers, and Area Directors to identify new business opportunities and develop targeted sales plans.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in your assigned territory
  • Work closely with our Regional Sales Account Managers, Technical Account Managers, and Area Directors to identify new business opportunities and develop targeted sales plans
  • Build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to understand their research applications and match GenScript services to align with their project requirements
  • Share market knowledge and insights with our Sales, Technical, and Marketing teams through regular field feedback reports
  • Drive business expansion by collaborating with our Technical Support Team (TAM) to identify new markets and opportunities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or above in a scientific discipline (life science area preferred)
  • Relevant sales experience (1-3 years) and a high level of technical and professional expertise
  • Knowledge of the biological and CRO or CDMO market or general biotech industry, with emphasis on gene synthesis, protein, peptide, bioassays, antibody, and cell line products/services
  • Ability to operate effectively in an international business environment and succeed in such an environment
  • Ability to accurately forecast sales within your territory on a weekly basis

We offer a competitive salary of $70,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and bonuses.
