Marine Diesel Technician Job Description

At Laborde Products, we are seeking a highly skilled Marine Diesel Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, and repairing marine and industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair marine propulsion engines, generators, and pump engines
  • Follow service manuals, procedures, and schematics to remove and install components
  • Exhibit safe work habits and comply with all company regulations
  • Provide troubleshooting and after-sale support to resolve customer issues
  • Maintain service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic preferred. Marine diesel mechanic or technician highly preferred
  • Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
  • Must own a good foundation of tools to perform the job duties
