In this role, you will independently handle the repair, upkeep, and installation of electrical, HVAC, mechanical, refrigeration, and electronic entertainment systems in compliance with relevant building codes and safety standards. The working hours for this position are Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and execute mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs/maintenance on various powered industrial equipment, including but not limited to lift trucks, reach trucks, pallet jacks, boom lifts, scissor lifts, balers, and other operational support machinery.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Operate and maintain equipment such as forklifts and maintenance vehicles.
  • Perform daily walkthroughs of the facility using designated checklists.
  • Generate and manage maintenance repair orders.
  • May require travel to different locations to fulfill job duties.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in power industrial equipment repair.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical principles, including AC/DC power circuits and systems, motor controls, and electronic control systems.
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (EMAINT) is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Flexibility to adapt to various work environments, working independently or as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with all relevant safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Valid driver's license and successful completion of D.O.T. certification.
  • Capability to work independently, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
  • Certification as a power industrial equipment mechanic or relevant post-secondary training.
  • Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 75 lbs, work at heights of 35-50 ft, and navigate confined spaces.
  • Effective communication skills.
