We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Risk and Compliance Lead to join our dynamic Engineering Systems and Compliance team at LinkedIn. In this pivotal role, you will lead and manage engineering compliance end-to-end activities with the organization, establishing and maintaining engineering compliance processes and controls covering various compliance programs such as SOX, MRC, DMA, and DSA.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain compliance engineering compliance control environments by partnering with relevant teams to monitor and interpret regulations, standards, and guidelines relevant to engineering activities.
- Drive comprehensive technical compliance reviews for relevant engineering projects at application and infrastructure levels to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
- Build technical recommendations for system process enhancements and measures to mitigate risks and meet compliance requirements.
- Partner with and influence cross-functional teams to design and implement technical solutions and processes for compliance.
- Drive continuous monitoring on the effectiveness of system control environments and enable effective system remediation efforts by working with teams to identify root causes, analyze impacts, and design long-term solutions for issues and gaps.
- Prepare for and facilitate audits and walkthroughs as needed to support management on system controls and collaborate with management, internal and external compliance and audit stakeholders to stay updated on new compliance requirements.
- Design and deliver trainings on compliance requirements and best practices for engineering and systems teams, stay updated on industry trends, technology compliance regulations, and communicate relevant information to teams.
- Drive data analysis and internal tool evaluations for developing automated compliance solutions and relevant reporting dashboards.
- BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in technology compliance services or related field.
- 5+ years of experience with technology compliance across domains such as Access Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Ads revenue, Information Security, etc.
- 2+ years of experience with code reviews and/or system designs and/or data analysis.
- MS in MIS (Management Information Systems) or MBA.
- 7+ years of engineering compliance, systems audit/compliance, IT SOX, in the tech industry or equivalent.
- Excellent grasp of risk management and technology compliance.
- Proven experience in conducting engineering/system compliance reviews.
- Strong knowledge of industry-specific regulations, compliance frameworks, and standards including but not limited to: SOX, DMA, DSA, MRC, SSAE 16-SOC 1&2, GDPR.

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits, and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
