About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead our Frontend Engineering team. As a key member of our engineering leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the technical direction of our frontend engineering efforts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of experienced software engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical roadmaps and strategies to drive the growth and success of our frontend engineering team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to ensure their continued growth and development.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on frontend development.
  • 3+ years of experience in people leadership, with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong technical leadership skills, with the ability to drive technical direction and strategy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of mobile and web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, including design patterns, testing, and deployment.
