About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Nurse to join our Blood Cancer Unit at Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center. As a Research Nurse, you will play a critical role in advancing cancer treatments and improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen, enroll, and follow study subjects, ensuring protocol compliance and close monitoring.
  • Collect and record data, source documentation, and adverse events.
  • Enroll patients onto clinical trials through recruitment, screening, enrollment, treatment, and follow-up.
  • Review study design and inclusion/exclusion criteria with physicians and patients.
  • Ensure patient protection by verifying informed consent procedures and adhering to protocol requirements.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree; preferably a Bachelor's Degree.
  • RN License.
  • Knowledge of medical and research terminology.
  • Knowledge of FDA Code of Federal Regulations and GCP.
  • At least one year of oncology experience, preferably hematology and/or transplant.
  • At least one year of experience in a research setting preferred.
  • Research Certification (ACRP or CCRP) Preferred.
