Job Summary

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, a leading provider of cancer care, seeks a highly skilled Advanced Practice Practitioner to join our team in Denver. As a key member of our oncology team, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with cancer or blood disorders, working closely with our multidisciplinary team of experts.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, initiating and documenting interventions as needed.
  • Perform procedures, mentor, and train other providers, promoting wellness and recommending community resources to meet patient needs.
  • Consistently incorporate evidence-based research into clinical practice, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of reimbursement procedures and documentation requirements.
  • Complete patient charge capture and medical record documentation in a timely fashion, often providing case management for patients and their families.
  • Provide palliative care for patients and their families as needed, serving as a subject matter expert and promoting staff education.
Qualifications
  • Nurse Practitioner: Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nursing school and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Physician Assistant: Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and current NCCPA certification.
  • At least one year of experience in oncology or a related field, with a strong understanding of reimbursement procedures and documentation requirements.
