Job Overview

Your Contributions
  • Collaborate with the WSP district structures management team.
  • Support the growth and development of the structures team.
  • Oversee engineering activities related to bridge projects.
  • Act as a project manager and assist in managing significant structural projects.
  • Represent the firm at various industry meetings and conferences.
  • Advise on project staffing needs.

Qualifications
Essential
  • Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in engineering, with a focus on structural design.
  • Active engineering license (multi-state preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with construction laws, codes, and compliance requirements.
  • Understanding of related technical disciplines such as highway and drainage design.
  • Proficient in technical computations and engineering principles.
  • Experience in conducting inspections and evaluations of construction projects.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with diverse audiences.
  • Strong leadership abilities to guide project teams.
  • Proficient in technical writing and design software.
  • Experience in reviewing complex documents and preparing technical deliverables.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address project challenges.
