Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled LPN or Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team at EngageMED, Inc. As a vital member of our team, you will contribute to the success of our practice by providing exceptional patient care and demonstrating a commitment to customer service, professionalism, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide basic nursing care to patients, following established standards and procedures.
  • Collect patient data, including vital signs, and report this information accordingly.
  • Prepare and administer injections, perform routine tests, and treat wounds.
  • Prepare patient records and files, using established medical record forms and documentation practices.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor treatment progress.
  • Participate in the implementation and evaluation of patient care, based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge of basic nursing processes and health care technology, equipment, and supplies.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with staff and patients.
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and composure in questionable or emergency situations.
  • Maintain a positive, caring attitude towards patients.
  • Good computer skills using a medical management application.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
