Job Title: Counterintelligence Analyst

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Counterintelligence Analyst to support the DIA Office of Counterintelligence in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in intelligence analysis and be able to conduct research and analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements.
  • Develop and apply analytic methodologies to challenge differing perspectives and provide guidance on selecting and designing methodologies.
  • Monitor and analyze strategic and operational aspects of political, military, and economic developments for countries in the Areas of Operational Responsibility and Areas of Interest.
  • Assess future and ongoing political-military developments, military capabilities, and doctrine, as well as weapons acquisitions and employment of military forces within each country.
  • Research, author, and coordinate threat assessments to support senior leadership.
  • Connect pieces of information from different sources to form reliable reports on anti-terrorism and national security threats.
  • Assess the believability of information from reliable sources, collect it, and validate intelligence.
Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must possess an active Top Secret (TS) SCI clearance and be able to obtain a polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 4-8 years of job-related experience or equivalent with at least a portion of relevant experience within the last 2 years.
  • Demonstrates comprehensive mission knowledge and skills that affirm completion of all developmental training and experiences for the labor category.
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and/or technically advanced.
  • Demonstrates ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines.
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.
  • Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution.
  • Demonstrates ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence.
  • Demonstrates ability to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems.
  • Excellent communications and analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs; mastery of Department of Defense policies, procedures, and tools.
