Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Operative Preparation: Prepare patients for surgery by verifying patient identification, reviewing medical histories, and ensuring that all necessary equipment and instruments are available.
  • Surgical Assistance: Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, maintaining a safe and sterile environment, and providing support as needed.
  • Instrument Management: Clean, process, and sterilize surgical instruments, ensuring that they are in good working condition and ready for use.
  • Operating Room Maintenance: Maintain the consumable supply readiness of the surgical suite, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available and easily accessible.
  • Post-Operative Care: Assist in the recovery of patients after surgery, providing support and care as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have at least one year of specialized experience in a surgical setting, including experience with preparing and screening patients for surgery, selecting and assembling instruments and equipment for procedures, and cleaning of the operating room after surgical procedures.
