Delaware Schools Consortium is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 per year.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe interior in various buildings on campus and assisting staff with various requests to ensure smooth operation of education services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Vacuum, mop, sweep all floor areas, including classrooms, offices, restrooms, etc. Sanitize, disinfect, and clean all restrooms to include toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, partitions, dispensers, etc.
  • Restock supplies as necessary, including paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
  • Perform general cleanup of all interior and exterior areas of the buildings as directed. Complete non-routine cleaning as directed by the Chief Custodian.
  • Empty garbage and recycling daily.
  • Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests.
  • Correct unsafe conditions in work areas and immediately report conditions to the Chief Custodian.
