About the Role

As a member of the Prime Healthcare team, we are seeking a skilled Cardiac Rhythm Technician to join our award-winning team at North Vista Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms via direct cardiac monitors and facilitate communication needs of the department.
  • Transcribe physician orders in the absence of CPOE and EMR clinical documentation system.
  • Verify that lab tests and radiology tests have been ordered and done.
  • Prepare and complete records in the ICU, including ordering supplies for the unit.
  • Assist nursing staff with indirect patient care duties, ensuring primary responsibility for dysrhythmia monitoring.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience required.
  • Current Dysrhythmia Interpretation Certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Six months previous experience as Monitor Technician preferred.
