We are seeking a skilled Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to join our team at Pediatrix Medical Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in conducting newborn hearing screens and educating parents about the importance of this critical process.
Responsibilities- Conduct newborn hearing screens in a hospital setting, utilizing video and printed tools to educate parents.
- Enter patient data and validate hearing screen results accurately.
- Assist with confirming or rescheduling outpatient appointments, as needed.
- Follow protocol for timely submission of billing and adhere to hospital, company, and program policies.
- Recognize potential problems and obtain assistance when necessary, in a timely manner.
- Experience working with infants preferred.
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer proficiency and ability to perform accurate data entry.
- Ability to prioritize daily tasks and assignments.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required.
