Newborn Hearing Screen Specialist

As a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician with Pediatrix Medical Group, you will play a vital role in the early detection of hearing loss in newborns. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct hearing screens in hospital settings, providing accurate and timely results to parents and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct newborn hearing screens in hospital settings
- Verify insurance information with parents/guardians
- Document hearing screen results accurately
- Follow protocol for timely submission of billing
- Follow infection control, safety awareness, and other hospital, company, and program policies
Requirements:
- Experience working with infants preferred
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer proficiency and ability to perform accurate data entry
- Ability to prioritize daily tasks and assignments
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
