Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer for Infrastructure Development to join our team in Lansing, MI. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing electrical distribution systems that meet industry standards and client specifications.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Design electrical distribution systems for clients across various industries.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external partners to gather requirements and provide project updates.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to identify potential issues and opportunities.
  • Prepare and facilitate requests for forestry, permitting, and Right-of-Way acquisition.
  • Provide technical oversight and quality control of team designs and analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, including design software and tools (e.g., Bentley Open Utilities, AutoCAD, MicroStation).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for training and project requirements.
