Senior Product Management Leader for Crypto Community Analytics

Crypto Recruit is seeking a seasoned SVP Product Management leader to spearhead product strategy, drive growth, and ensure the development of products that resonate with our customers. In partnership with the executive team, you will set a business strategy and translate it into innovative and successful products.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to drive rapid growth in a high-paced startup environment. You will lead, inspire, and direct our Product team as it translates vision into the roadmap and executes our product strategy. You will work closely with the engineering, data science, analytics, and design teams to drive the discovery of new customer needs, understand the market, and identify new opportunities for us to win in a rapidly changing environment.

This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer and manages an existing team of highly effective product leaders, managers, and designers. To excel in this role, the employee must have a passion for the blockchain and crypto market and be willing to rapidly increase their knowledge level to become a crypto expert.

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Lead strategy sessions with the Leadership team while being able to translate big ideas into roadmaps and meaningful action with Product and Engineering teams
  • Engage with the company Board of Directors, crypto protocols, and thought leaders to learn about the latest trends in crypto, share ideas, and translate those learnings into ideas for action at the company
  • Partner with Engineering, Data Science, Analytics and other teams to ensure the transition from product strategy into a prioritized product roadmap
  • Make tradeoffs to get work out the door while not forgetting the long-term vision
  • Attract, recruit, and retain fantastic product talent
  • Help product leaders to grow and build clear career paths for their continued progression in our organization
  • Partner with Engineering to ensure our Product/Engineering team works as a unified high-performing team with repeatable frameworks and processes
  • Collaborate with Marketing to understand competitive offerings and develop product marketing tactics that drive adoption, usage, and retention
  • Set the appropriate objectives and metrics to track product performance and drive continuous improvement

You should have:

  • Crypto-fluency, being aware that there is more to crypto than Bitcoin and having made investments of money and time to learn more about this ecosystem
  • Experience in building and scaling large data-driven platforms
  • Expertise in product management leadership, ideally in a high-growth organization
  • Experience in effectively leading, inspiring, and hiring remote, distributed product teams
  • Confidence working in both a B2B and B2C environment
  • Demonstrated experience developing and driving alignment around a vision, setting goals, and executing projects to completion
  • Collaborative skills and strong relationships across all corners of the organizations in which you work
  • Knowledge of how Product can be an accelerant to an efficient and effective build process and use Agile methodologies to ship products faster
  • A curious mindset, every day there is something new to learn in the blockchain
  • No fear of ambiguity and decisiveness
  • Excitement and comfort in being hands-on
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, 5+ years in senior product leadership
