Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Electrical Specialist to join our team at Resiliency LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our marine electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and systems on board our vessels, shore-tie installations, and other shore side facilities.
  • Design and install electrical system components, including electro-mechanical and electro-hydraulic devices.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical system problems, including control circuits and power distribution systems.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Assist other skilled employees in their craft, providing technical support and guidance as needed.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent and relevant experience working with shipboard electrical systems.
  • Experience working on vessels certificated by the USCG under Title 46 CFR Subchapters H or I.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) and Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC).
  • Ability to lift, carry, and transport heavy equipment and boxes (less than 20 lbs.).
  • Ability to work on high ladders, aloft, or over the side of vessels.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures (heat or cold) and humidity.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces which require the use of a respirator.
Preferred Qualifications
  • F.C.C. General Radio Telephone License with Radar Endorsement and Sperry Gyro Training.
  • Experience with electrical and electronic measuring devices, including drill presses, electric drills, and grinders.
