Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Pediatric ENT team at Phoenix Children's. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care, work collaboratively with residents, fellows, and attendings, and contribute to the development of our pediatric ENT services.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough histories and physicals, consults, and rounds on pediatric ENT patients in all units, including post-op care and procedures.
Manage ENT concerns, tracheostomies, post-operative, and complex airway patients.
Assist in the OR with head and neck cases and other procedures.
Respond to hospital and parent phone calls from 3pm-7am, and be on call 2-3 nights per month, Monday-Friday, variable.

Requirements:

At least one year of PA experience in pediatrics or a surgical specialty preferred.
Ability to work autonomously and self-educate if no prior ENT experience (training will be provided).
Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association or obtained by start date.
Current State of Arizona certification as a Physician Assistant or obtained by start date.
Maintain certificate in National Commission on Certification for Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Master's degree from a nationally accredited ARC-PA program.
Excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal communication, and basic computer skills.
