About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Driver to join our team at KIK Consumer Products. As a Forklift Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move products and materials throughout the warehouse and distribution center.
  • Perform inventory functions, including cycle counts, physical inventory, and product checks, to ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory levels.
  • Load and receive materials from trailers, and load, store, and move materials in and out of racking systems.
  • Perform loading documentation process in accordance with Hazmat rules, and operate and use the plant's warehouse management system/RFID.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Standards, and follow all plant policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of forklift experience, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.
  • Ability to stand, sit, lift, bend, crouch, reach, and climb consistently for 12 hours.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English, and to work in accordance with Health and Safety and GMP regulations.
  • Ability to lift 45lbs from floor to shoulder level, and to work overtime as needed.
  • Possibility of working in a non-temperature-controlled environment, including high temperatures and humidity for extended periods of time.
  • Possibility of working around high noise levels, depending on location.
  • Constant interaction with a variety of chemicals and chemical products.
