Job Title: Asphalt Paver Operator

Rogers Group, a leading aggregates and asphalt highway construction company, is seeking a skilled Asphalt Paver Operator to join their team in Madison, TN.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will operate a paver with high proficiency, perform daily inspections, and maintain equipment as trained and directed by management. They will also communicate effectively with colleagues and follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA/Environmental regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate paver with high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.
  • Perform daily pre-and post-inspections with documentation in compliance with company policies.
  • Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
  • Effective communication skills applicable to position.
  • Properly follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA/Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
Qualifications:
  • Dedication to safe work practices.
  • Minimum of 2 years' previous experience in an asphalt paving operation.
  • Experience working road construction in high traffic areas preferred.
  • Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
  • Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours when necessary.
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen.
  • Able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record and Valid Drivers License required.
