MercyOne Dubuque/Dyersville Medical Center is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients of all ages, from infants to adults. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients of all ages, from infants to adults.
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to physicians.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Document patient information and care plans in electronic medical records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the State of Iowa.
- BSN degree or equivalent experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
