Job Title: Mental Health Services Director

We are seeking an experienced clinician to oversee our clinical staff, community partnerships, and programs at Fernandez Community Center.

The primary responsibilities of this role include actively participating in clinical design, development, and support launch of pilots/proof of concepts focused on improving health outcomes. This is a highly collaborative role that requires working with information, analytics, and key metrics to understand results and define areas of opportunity advancing the performance of our programs and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely and collaboratively with the Executive Director to ensure high quality clinical services and develop innovative clinical programs and community partnerships.
  • Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and assist in critical situations or clinical emergencies.
  • Monitor clinical staff workloads/assignments and maintain an individual caseload based on agency needs.
  • Provide leadership, clinical supervision, coaching, and mentoring to staff and interns.
  • Maintain a positive, ethical, and professional working relationship with community, government agencies, and other professionals.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's or PHD degree in a field related to health, psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, or other relevant human services area.
  • 3+ years proven experience working directly with individuals with behavioral health conditions.
  • Experience working with Medicaid funded programs.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment when making decisions.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire trust, respect, and motivation among staff members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
