Multi-Craft Maintenance Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a proficient Multi-Craft Maintenance Specialist to become a vital part of our team. This position entails the upkeep and servicing of all manufacturing equipment, emphasizing electrical and mechanical diagnostics and repairs, including PLC systems.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct preventive, scheduled, and emergency maintenance on production and facility machinery.
- Interface with machine PLCs (mainly Allen Bradley) for troubleshooting purposes.
- Assist in identifying and organizing essential spare parts.
- Employ a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for record-keeping and parts procurement.
- Perform other related tasks as required.
- Capability to lift up to 40lbs.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Expertise in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting across all equipment.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
- Commitment to adhering to company safety protocols and regulations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and air conditioning systems.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic math skills.
- Effective time management skills.
- Associate degree in Industrial or Electronic Technology or Mechatronics.
- Three or more years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
- Electrical certification is mandatory.
- Experience in programming, repairing, installing, and upgrading Programmable Logic Controllers.
COMPETENCIES:
- Proficient in reading technical drawings, especially electrical schematics.
- Skilled in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- Knowledgeable in machine and facility wiring.
- Experience with PLC connections and ladder logic.
- Strong communication abilities.
