Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team, focusing on providing exceptional support to students with communication challenges. This role is essential in creating a nurturing educational atmosphere where every child can excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Design and execute tailored educational plans (IEPs) for students requiring communication assistance.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students in both individual and small group settings.
  • Track and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies.
  • Collaborate with educators and school personnel to incorporate speech and language objectives into classroom activities.
  • Provide guidance and resources to parents and guardians to enhance their child's communication skills.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team discussions to contribute to the development of educational strategies.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology and special education.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • Experience in a school environment or with children is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to manage a varied caseload.
