Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Social Worker to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Clinical Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide clinical therapy and support to students in a school-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans to address the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students, focusing on evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care.
  • Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to student care.
  • Develop and implement mental health education programs for students, teachers, and parents, promoting healthy coping mechanisms and stress management techniques.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that enhance patient satisfaction and quality outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • State of Michigan Social Work License (LMSW) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with youth in clinical therapy and crisis intervention settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and compassion.
