Key Responsibilities:- Deliver empathetic care and aid with daily activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
- Observe and communicate any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate personnel.
- Administer prescribed medications and maintain precise records of medication schedules.
- Prepare and serve meals tailored to clients' dietary needs, assisting with feeding when necessary.
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings, ensuring their safety during transportation.
- Uphold a clean and safe living environment through light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and tidying.
- Implement personalized care plans as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering clients' mental and social well-being.
- Assist clients with mobility, including the use of mobility aids.
- Encourage recreational activities and social engagement based on clients' interests.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect clients' privacy in all care aspects.
- Document client care and progress accurately.
- Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training for professional growth.
- Respond to emergencies and administer first aid when required.
- Support clients in achieving independence within their capabilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Prior experience in caregiving or a similar field.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Physical capability to assist clients as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient approach.
- Basic knowledge of hygiene and sanitation practices.
- Flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
- Reliable transportation.
- Understanding of basic healthcare procedures.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain confidentiality.
- Basic computer skills for documenting care in electronic records.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Starting pay at $15.10 per hour, with both part-time and full-time positions available. We offer flexible scheduling, employee matching 401k, paid time off, uniform allowance, and supplemental insurance options.
