Key Responsibilities
  • Engineering & Quality
    • Address equipment-related operations issues and implement solutions.
    • Making decisions about acceptable vs. unacceptable quality of products.
    • Ensure quality standards are being met.
    • Identify areas for improvement and voice issues that operators have with equipment, process, and procedures.
    • Implement equipment upgrades and improvements.
    • Ensure conditions of tooling and equipment are maintained.
    • Understand and know the products and procedures.
  • Shift Supervision
    • Lead and work with 60 operators per shift across 6 lines.
    • Oversee operator performance and adherence to process procedures.
    • Ensure quotas are being met.
    • Ensure correct tools are available and in good working order for each operator.
  • General
    • Holding daily stand-up meetings to start each shift.
    • Keep a shift log of activities, performance, issues/events.
    • Have a shift handover meeting with next shift supervisor.
    • Address production-related problems as they arise.
    • Train operators on process and procedures of equipment.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, IT, business management, or related field preferred.
    • 2-3 years of manufacturing and supervision experience.
