Clerical Specialist

The Texas Workforce Commission is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clerk III to join our team in the Revenue and Trust Management Department. As a Clerk III, you will play a critical role in supporting the efficient use of financial resources and promoting effective financial management controls.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate clerical activities, including compiling and tabulating data, checking documents for accuracy, and handling and transporting documents and/or stock and inventory.
• Maintain files and prepare documents for data entry and input data in financial systems.
• Prepare documents and batches for scanner operations and deliver batches for processing.
• Monitor returned checks and communicate with appropriate program areas for disposition.
• Prepare and verify accurate remittance information through research.
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited high school or successful completion of GED certification, plus one year of full-time experience in clerical work.
• One semester (15 semester hours) of accredited college work may be substituted for each six months of required experience.
• Completion of 300 clock hours of course work in the clerical field from a licensed vocational, technical, or business school may substitute for the six months of required experience.
