Job Summary

The Environmental Health and Safety Specialist will play a key role in establishing and maintaining a strong safety culture at Arboris, LLC. This position will assist in developing and implementing EHS programs, conducting audits, and providing training to employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EHS programs, including occupational safety and health, process safety, and environmental programs
  • Conduct regular EHS audits and provide feedback to management
  • Provide training to employees on EHS procedures and protocols
  • Lead EHS observation program and coach employees on hazard recognition and avoidance
  • Assist in recordable injury, first-aid, and near-miss investigations
  • Support operations during emergency response activities
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Environmental or Occupational Health Sciences, Industrial Safety, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years experience leading EHS efforts in an industrial manufacturing setting
  • Knowledge of EPA laws and regulatory standards, OSHA laws and standards, and Department of Transportation laws and regulations
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to motivate employees and build relationships
