The Environmental Health and Safety Specialist will play a key role in establishing and maintaining a strong safety culture at Arboris, LLC. This position will assist in developing and implementing EHS programs, conducting audits, and providing training to employees.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement EHS programs, including occupational safety and health, process safety, and environmental programs
- Conduct regular EHS audits and provide feedback to management
- Provide training to employees on EHS procedures and protocols
- Lead EHS observation program and coach employees on hazard recognition and avoidance
- Assist in recordable injury, first-aid, and near-miss investigations
- Support operations during emergency response activities
- Associate's degree in Environmental or Occupational Health Sciences, Industrial Safety, or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience leading EHS efforts in an industrial manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of EPA laws and regulatory standards, OSHA laws and standards, and Department of Transportation laws and regulations
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
