Job Title: Docket Specialist

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Docket Specialist to join its Intellectual Property Patent Support Unit. This role will be responsible for maintaining the Patent computerized docket system and will be supervised by the Regional Manager of Patent Support Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all areas of the CPI database, including information pertaining to each specific application and docket due dates, remarks, incoming domestic and foreign client related communications, and incoming Patent and Trademark Office communications.
  • Process delivery of incoming electronic communications pursuant to departmental procedures.
  • Provide docket, status, and maintenance reports to patent personnel and attorneys as requested.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year of docketing experience or equivalent knowledge of patent processes.
  • High school diploma.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and participate in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work overtime preferred.
Compensation:

The salary range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
