Job Title: Assembly Technician

Job Summary:

The Assembly Technician is a key member of our team responsible for the assembly of KIOTI products, including tractor units, attachments, implements, parts, and accessories. This role requires mechanical and technical ability to assist in the teardown and rebuild of tractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble tractors, including attaching equipment such as tires, steering wheels, and mowers, according to customer requests.
  • Tear down and repair tractors, working with the Product Support department to determine necessary mechanical tasks.
  • Complete online parts orders to finish tractor builds.
  • Determine problems and figure out solutions, including modifying parts without supervision and touching up paint as needed.
  • Be forklift certified to move material around in the assembly area.
  • Assist and provide backup for all warehouse duties and responsibilities as needed.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the assembly area.
  • Responsible for inventory of tools and reporting loss, damage, or malfunctioning equipment to the direct supervisor.
  • Responsible for upholding and being aware of safety on the job and in the work area.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Training in related areas of mechanics and/or assembly preferred.
  • 2-4 years of mechanical/assembly related experience required.
  • Training in overhead hoist equipment will be required annually.
  • Must be forklift operator certified and comfortable moving large items around in a warehouse environment.
  • Must have mechanical aptitude and a strong ability to solve problems independently.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds periodically.

Additional Requirements:

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without any restrictions.
  • Okay to work 100% on-site in Wendell, NC.
