Job Title: Assembly Technician

Job Summary:

The Assembly Technician is responsible for the assembly of KIOTI products, including tractor units, attachments, implements, parts, and accessories. This role requires mechanical and technical ability to assist in the teardown and rebuild of tractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble tractors according to customer specifications, including attaching equipment such as tires, steering wheels, and mowers.
  • Tear down and repair tractors, working with the Product Support department to determine necessary mechanical tasks.
  • Complete online parts orders to finish tractor builds.
  • Determine problems and figure out solutions, modifying parts as needed without supervision.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the assembly area.
  • Responsible for inventory of tools and reporting loss, damaged, or malfunctioning equipment to the direct supervisor.
  • Uphold and be aware of safety on the job and in the work area.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of mechanical/assembly related experience.
  • Training in overhead hoist equipment annually.
  • Forklift operator certification and comfort moving large items in a warehouse environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds periodically.
Working Conditions:

Work performed in a combination of shop and office environments, exposing employees to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils, etc.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without any restrictions and be willing to work 100% on-site in Wendell, NC.
