Job Overview

ProCare Therapy is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing full-time services to a K-12th grade caseload. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of occupational therapy experience and a strong background in working with school-aged children, including those with disabilities or special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students' abilities and limitations in various functional areas.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results, utilizing evidence-based practices in occupational therapy.
  • Provide ongoing assessment and monitoring of students' progress toward goals, collaborating with other members of the school team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state license in California.
  • Experience working with school-aged children, including those with disabilities or special needs.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in occupational therapy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
