Job Summary

Next Move Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Progressive Care Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with complex medical needs, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Patient-Centered Care: Deliver physical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients, assessing and implementing care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Operate Advanced Medical Equipment: Safely and effectively operate advanced medical equipment, including A-lines, chest tubes, invasive lines, and ventilatory support systems.
  • Manage Patient Care: Coordinate patient care from admission to discharge, including discharge planning and follow-up, to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients, promoting a patient-centered approach to care.
  • Lead and Precept Staff: Lead and precept staff, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and support staff, to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and promote professional growth and development.
  • Implement Established Policies and Procedures: Implement established nursing policies and procedures with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree from an accredited Nursing Program required.
  • Experience: Experience in advanced medical/surgical units and recent critical care or progressive care nursing required.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current State of Montana RN Licensure required, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (or obtained within 6 months of hire), EPNC and TNCC certifications preferred.
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Proficiency in operating advanced medical equipment, ability to interpret basic cardiac telemetry and EKG, advanced nursing principles and procedures, with pediatric experience preferred.
