Who are we looking for?
Required Technical Competencies

- Master’s degree in Electronics, Space Engineering, or equivalent qualifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry.
- Eligibility for obtaining National and EU security clearance is essential.
- Proficiency in LabVIEW and Python programming is required.
- Fundamental understanding and keen interest in digital communications theory and signal processing within the RF communications field.
- Basic knowledge and enthusiasm for Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS).
- Understanding of electronics (schematics, EMI, testability) is advantageous.
- Ideally, some familiarity with RF testing equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters.


Your primary work location will be at the Hoboken office, with occasional responsibilities at the Leuven office.

Business trips may provide a refreshing change from your regular duties.

Where do you fit in?

The AIT team is tasked with the assembly, integration, and verification of challenging communication and navigation products at Antwerp Space.

Within the AIT team, your primary responsibility will be the verification of RF products.

Product testability begins with defining requirements, followed by model philosophy, test bench design, AIV planning, and procedures, culminating in performance and compatibility verification.

You will collaborate closely with all engineering teams, product assurance, and our international clientele.

As a member of the Antwerp Space AIT team, you will contribute to numerous exciting international satellite communication and navigation projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop test benches for RF communication and navigation products.


- Collaborate with engineering teams to design efficient system architectures and transition new products from prototype to production, with a strong emphasis on testability.

- Define technical requirements and establish test strategies for our projects.
- Take ownership of all test-related documentation, execution, and result analysis.


- Conduct environmental compatibility verification (Thermal vacuum, EMC, Vibration, Shock) of RF products, including testing at external facilities in Europe.

- Verify interfaces typical of space products, such as MIL-STD-1533, Space Wire, SPI, RS422.
- Engage in hands-on debugging and testing within our laboratories.
- Utilize advanced RF testing equipment, including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, and constellation simulators.
