Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Guest Services Manager to lead our front desk operations at Spirehotels. This role is pivotal in ensuring our guests receive exceptional service and support throughout their stay. If you are passionate about hospitality and have a knack for fostering a welcoming environment, this position is ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the front desk team, ensuring the delivery of outstanding customer service.
  • Effectively communicate with staff to assign tasks and provide clear instructions.
  • Welcome guests with a warm and genuine greeting, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
  • Oversee the registration process, ensuring accuracy in guest information and room assignments.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and tact.
  • Manage financial transactions, including credit card authorizations and cash handling.
  • Maintain a calm demeanor during busy periods and emergencies, serving as a role model for the team.
  • Conduct thorough research to resolve customer complaints and implement effective solutions.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage customer relations effectively.
  • Proficient in basic mathematics and capable of handling financial transactions accurately.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate and utilize a computer system for various tasks.
  • Physical capability to stand and perform duties at the front desk for extended periods.
  • Ability to remain observant and responsive to emergency situations.
