Position Overview:
This role is crucial for ensuring the operational integrity of avionics systems on aircraft. You will work under minimal supervision to conduct a variety of intricate operational and functional tests, as well as repairs to electronic and avionics equipment, ensuring compliance with established procedures and performance specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Communicate effectively to understand and execute work assignments accurately and in a timely manner.
2. Ensure all tasks meet FAA standards and customer specifications.
3. Adhere to internal and FAA inspection and documentation protocols, completing necessary paperwork promptly.
4. Properly identify and store customer property and equipment.
5. Install and functionally test electrical and avionics components according to engineering specifications and schematics to guarantee a defect-free system.

Technical Duties:
1. Analyze and repair aircraft avionics systems, including Nav/Com, Transponder, DME, and Autopilot, utilizing manufacturer prints, maintenance manuals, and wiring diagrams.
2. Repair or replace defective components and wiring, ensuring installations conform to standards.
3. Troubleshoot systems using industry-accepted practices, including splicing, soldering, and wire termination.
4. Set up and operate necessary testing equipment, conducting functional and operational tests to assess performance and reliability.

Maintenance and Safety:
1. Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of electronic and electrical components on the workbench.
2. Assist other technicians as needed in aircraft operations.
3. Maintain cleanliness and safety in all work areas, including hangars and offices.
4. Follow company policies and procedures, including safety regulations, to foster a respectful work environment.

Additional Responsibilities:
1. Utilize the Corridor system to log daily labor against appropriate work orders.
2. Review work documentation to ensure compliance with inspection procedures and FAA regulations.
3. Maintain and care for shop equipment and tools as directed by the supervisor.
4. Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and operational goals.
