What are your key contributions to the team?
- Comply with Bombardier's General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop, and/or Hangar positions) and adhere to environmental health and safety policies.
- Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect, and maintain customer aircraft, ensuring timely and safe performance of assigned tasks.
- Inspect incoming parts and documentation to meet regulatory requirements and assist in other maintenance disciplines, including Avionics, Structures, and Composites.
- Perform and document work completed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Operate ground support equipment as necessary and assist with mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
- Return aircraft to service after maintenance at off-site locations and act as a shipping and receiving agent for parts.
- Audit your location and truck monthly and provide accurate time estimates.
- Create service orders with SAP and perform Delegated Inspector (DI) functions as qualified by QA.
How to thrive in this role?
- You hold an Airframe and Powerplant License and have a minimum of 3 years' aircraft maintenance work experience or substantiated equivalent experience.
- You have a minimum of 2 years' experience on corporate jet aircraft and a minimum of 1 year's experience with Bombardier aircraft models.
- You possess the ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings and effectively communicate in both written and verbal forms with customers.
- You own a basic set of hand tools and can demonstrate inventory and control of tools.
- You must be able to work unscheduled overtime, including nonscheduled workdays and holidays, and be available for considerable travel with 2 hours' notice.
- You must have a valid driver's license and be able to maintain insurable status.
- You have the ability to work unsupervised and alone, obtain certification for Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required, and possess a valid passport for international travel.
- You have previous experience in Customer Relations with emphasis on customer-facing interactions and experience with aircraft return to service and inspection procedures.
