Position Summary

The Radiologic Technologist II plays a crucial role in executing a diverse range of radiographic procedures utilizing both stationary and portable imaging equipment, including c-arms for surgical applications.



Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct various radiographic examinations with precision and care.
  • Maintain a sterile environment and promote radiation safety for patients and surgical teams.
  • Work autonomously under limited supervision, demonstrating sound judgment and initiative.
  • Engage effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and support staff.
  • Provide care across all patient demographics, ensuring comfort and safety during procedures.
  • Be prepared for irregular work hours, including overtime and on-call duties.
  • Assist in additional tasks during periods of low patient volume.


Qualifications

  • Registered Radiologic Technologist certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Valid state license as a Radiographer.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification.
  • Proficient in operating a variety of radiographic equipment, including mobile and portable units.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new imaging techniques and technologies.
  • Ability to interact professionally with patients, physicians, and colleagues.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and lifting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
