Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist II is a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, responsible for performing a wide range of radiographic examinations using both fixed and portable equipment. This role requires additional training in imaging in the surgical suite, sterile field protection, and promoting radiation safety to patients and surgical staff.

Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic examinations using various equipment, including c-arms and portable units
  • Work under limited supervision, exercising independent judgment and initiative
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Assist in other areas during low-volume periods
Requirements
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Valid Ohio License as a Radiographer
  • Current Basic Life Support certification
  • Ability to use a wide range of radiographic equipment
  • Willingness to learn new procedures and operate new equipment
  • Ability to deal tactfully and professionally with patients and coworkers
  • Ability to tolerate long periods of standing, bending, and lifting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous charge experience
  • 2+ years of hospital radiography experience
