  • You will also be responsible for managing project teams, schedules, and budgets for various projects, as well as assisting in developing and executing work plans for completing assigned tasks and projects.
  • Additionally, you will apply specialized technical expertise on a broad range of design tasks relating to municipal engineering, including water main, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, roadways, and downtown development.
  • As a key member of our team, you will interact with other engineering disciplines (internal and external) and incorporate their work products, providing direction, supervision, and training to junior staff.
Job Requirements
  • We are seeking forward-thinking, safety-conscious, and energetic individuals who are excited to work on both small-scale and large-scale projects.
  • Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, a minimum of 8 years' experience, a Michigan Professional Engineer License, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Experience with road design, storm sewer design, and water main design is also required, as well as an understanding of preparing EGLE and other permits.
  • You will also be responsible for developing bid books and specifications, managing project schedules, budgets, and project teams, and providing strong attention to detail and excellent analytical/judgement capabilities.
  • Ability to work remote and in person effectively is also a must.
