Job SummaryThe Dental Hygienist will be responsible for cleaning teeth, providing oral hygiene instructions, and assisting the dentist during examinations and treatments.
This role requires a strong understanding of periodontal charting, x-ray development, and patient record maintenance.
You will work closely with our dental team to ensure excellent patient care and satisfaction.
- Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year

Responsibilities:
- Reviews patient medical history, charts existing restorations, and maintains patient records.
- Exposes and develops x-ray film, makes impressions for study casts, and performs intraoral and extraoral examinations.
- Cleans teeth and beneath margins of gums using dental instruments, removes excess cement from coronal surfaces of teeth, and assists the dentist during exam and treatment planning.
- Provides clinical services and health education to improve and maintain oral health of school children and conducts dental health clinics for community groups.
Requirements:
- Education: Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Experience: Minimum of three years experience as a Dental Hygienist
- Licenses or Certifications: Licensure by State Dental Hygiene Board, CPR Certification, administration local anesthesia, administration or monitoring of nitrous oxide, Prosthetic Function Certification, Restorative Function Certification
