Financial Representative Trainee

As a Financial Representative Trainee at Mutual of Omaha, you will embark on a comprehensive training program designed to equip you with the skills and expertise necessary to excel in selling Individual Insurance products. This dynamic program combines self-study and hands-on experience projects, tailored to a structured curriculum.

What We Offer:
  • A competitive trainee starting wage of $16/hour for up to 30 days
  • Opportunity for promotion to a Financial Representative with a $36,000 annual base plus monthly sales incentives
  • An education-based Accelerator Program

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in a comprehensive program to develop the skills required to provide holistic financial advice to clients
  • Pass a sales process competency test
  • Gain direct sales experience in marketing Individual Insurance products to clients
  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with internal business partners
  • Oversee completion of content, proposals, and paperwork flow
Requirements:
  • Ability to successfully achieve criteria of Trainee Program
  • Must pass and apply for appropriate insurance licenses within 14 days of entry into the job
  • Highly self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Promote a culture of diversity and inclusion
Preferred:
  • Knowledge of the Insurance/Financial Services industry
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred but not required
