Local Contract Computed Tomography Technologist

Medasource is currently in search of a local contract CT Technologist for an opportunity in the healthcare sector.
Position OverviewThe CT Technologist will be responsible for operating various imaging devices and utilizing electronic information systems to ensure precise imaging. Key responsibilities include:
- Equipment Operation: Program imaging equipment for accurate results, adjusting settings based on patient characteristics such as age and size.
- Contrast Administration: Identify, prepare, and administer contrast materials under the supervision of a licensed practitioner, while adhering to departmental protocols.
- Patient Interaction: Schedule and prepare patients for CT procedures, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Radiologists to determine special imaging protocols and techniques.
- Documentation: Accurately document all procedures and maintain comprehensive records.
- Quality Control: Perform routine quality checks on imaging equipment and assist in monitoring QA projects.
- Mentorship: Guide and support new staff and students as directed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety policies related to radiation and magnetic fields.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Active registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- A valid Ohio Radiological License in the "R" category.
- Advanced certification in CT.
- Current CPR certification.
