Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit team at NYU Langone Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients and work collaboratively with our attending physicians to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of critically ill patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with attending physicians.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient throughput.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and evidence-based practices to provide the highest level of care.
- Current New York State Physician Assistant License
- NCCPA Board Certification
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NALS (per delineation of privileges)
- Critical care and/or neuroscience experience as a provider required
- Membership in pertinent professional organizations
